Enter the first location at level 15
The Creaking House begins Haunted Trails. There are ten locations with ten stages each. Later locations have their own hunter-level requirements, and stages within a location are cleared in order. Unlocking a location does not mean your build can already clear its finale.
Plan your three free daily attempts
You have three free attempts per day shared across the trails. A defeat consumes one too, so check your build first. The interface shows when the allowance resets. An active contract blocks trail entry; finish it and close any open battle report before setting out. After using the free allowance, extra attempts are available for Ectoplasm; check the price before confirming.
Prepare for a chain, not a duel
A stage has two to five regular enemies and a boss. HP carries between encounters. Winning against a non-boss restores up to 5% of maximum HP, so do not count on a full heal.
- Damage shortens fights, but HP and suitable protection help you survive the entire chain.
- Stage opponents are fixed. Improve your hunter and return to the same challenge.
After losing, check where your HP ran out
If regular enemies wear you down before the boss, improve survival or the speed at which you defeat them. If you reach the boss with plenty of HP but still lose, inspect its attacks and your damage. Use the report before buying the first rarer item you see.
Distinguish first clears from repeats
Victory grants Gold and XP. The first completion of a new stage also grants haunted equipment with an extra possession effect. Repeating a cleared stage does not grant another first-clear item. Read the effect and compare it with your current equipment.
Before your next attempt
- I have no active contract or open battle report.
- I have an attempt available and my full build ready.
- I compare survival across the chain, not just opening damage.
